Adaptive Kayaking & Paddleboarding

Come Join Adaptively Abled Amputees & Coast To Coast Paddle for an afternoon of adaptive kayaking and paddle boarding on a guided tour around Salem Harbor. Adaptive equipment and assistance will be available. We will meet at the Coast To Coast Kiosk at Salem Willows Park at 2:30 PM to sign waivers & get fitted for life vests & equipment. We will paddle from 3 - 5 PM, possibly in heats depending on the size of the group. Please bring water, snacks, sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, and a hat. Adaptive participants please bring an empty water/milk plastic gallon jug so the correct amount of sand can be added to balance the kayak (if you choose to kayak). Adaptive paddling will cost $40 per person (paid by cash / credit card at the event).

The Adaptively Abled Amputees Annual Summer Cookout will follow in the picnic area of Salem Willows Park (165 Fort Av., Salem, MA 01970) from 5 - 7 PM. The sunsets from the park are spectacular and are an amazing group photo op! Please bring your favorite side dish, dessert, or non-alcoholic beverage.

This is a family friendly event and is open to anyone living with a physical disability along with their friends and family. Furry friends are welcome too!
